Hi I'm Isaiah

I'm in law school. I'm a husband and an expecting father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in college studying history, working part-time, and serving in my local singles branch. I love books, music, and film, and enjoy material from any genre, but I am particularly fond of science fiction. A year after graduating from high school, I volunteered to serve a full-time mission and was called to serve for two years in the Philippines. I loved serving and love the people there.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were taught the Restored Gospel, married, and later sealed in the temple in the Philippines. I was born and raised in an LDS home. I am forever grateful to have been raised in a home built on Gospel principles. The teachings of my parents and church leaders have provided me the spiritual foundation that has enabled me to continue to live according to the teachings of Christ even though many times others might try to convince me to do otherwise. The Gospel is true. Living it has blessed me with happiness and peace in my life regardless of the trials and hardships that come naturally with life on earth. Jesus Christ is truly my Savior and Redeemer. Heavenly Father lives and loves each of His children. I know this because of the power of the Holy Ghost. He has testified to me that these things are true.

How I live my faith

I serve in our local singles branch helping other singles my age to live the Gospel in whatever stage of life they may be in. We help young men to prepare to serve full-time missions. We teach not only on Sundays in class, but also in the home while visiting other members. We give service to those who are in need. We reach out to those who have stopped attending church and continue to love and serve them regardless. We organize activities that help bring single adults from around our area together to mingle and have fun.
