Hi I'm Joel

I live in Washington state, am a Project Management Professional and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father, grandfather, and work as a Project Management Professional and software engineer. My family means the world to me and I have been thrilled watching it grow as our children marry and raise families of their own. I built and fly my own airplane, ski, hike and play with my children and grandchildren and try to live life to the fullest. My wife and I enjoy traveling and truly appreciate the beauty of God's creation in all of its variety.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents became Mormons when they joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was five years old. They were looking for a better way to teach our family good, Christian values and their example led me to follow in their footsteps. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives me hope though the Savior's atoning sacrifice that I will be able to live with him and my extended family in the eternities to come.

How I live my faith

Staying active in the Church by attending meetings and serving fellow members and in the community reinforces what I learn when I read the scriptures. Personal and family prayer gives me guidance and hope daily. Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ renews my own faith in my Savior.

Are Mormons Christians?

Some of my friends that are active in other Christian faiths have asked me if Mormons are Christian. I explain that we believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotton Son of God, that he is our Savior and Redeemer. I know that Jesus Christ is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is my Savior, and I love him for what he has done for me and all mankind. Show more Show less
