Hi I'm Zach.

I love the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman in college and enjoy spending my free time outdoors. Whether it's an exhilarating mountain bike ride, a full day of snowboarding, or just roasting marshmallows over a campfire--I love being outdoors in this wonderful earth God created for us.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings much joy into my life. As I try my best to keep God's commandments and become more like Jesus Christ, I feel of Their love for me and am blessed in so many aspects of my life. I am also a Mormon because of the guidance that I receive in my life. I know where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going after I die. Being a Mormon has blessed my life greatly and continues to each day.

How I live my faith

I participate in a lot of fun activities with other Mormons my age that prepare us to be loving mothers and fathers. These activities are a lot of fun and teach you a lot of important life skills such as how to manage your finances effectively, how to plan fun and cheap dates, and even how to cook! I also participate in a lot of service projects, such as volunteering at the local hospital or picking up trash at the park.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Temples are used to participate in ordinances, or events, that are necessary for us to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ forever. Without these ordinances, we will not be able to live them. These ordinances can be done for ourselves or can be done by proxy for our ancestors so that we can be with them forever too. Show more Show less
