Hi I'm Chris

I'm a dentist. I'm a sports junky. I love to golf. If it has an Apple logo on it, I probably own it. I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a husband of a beautiful wife and a father of three incredible children. I'm a sports junkie! Go Yankees! I love watching college football, and playing golf. Go BYU! I grew up in Orem Utah. I graduated Brigham Young University in 1997 and then went on to complete dental school at NOVA Southeastern University in south Florida. I have been supporting my family by practicing general dentistry in the Phoenix Arizona area for almost 5 years now. I love spending time with my family doing just about anything.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon makes life easier, happier, and more enjoyable! Growing up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was a tremendous blessing for me. Now that I am older I am so grateful for the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. It has served to protect and bless me and my family in countless ways. I have learned through my personal scripture study, prayer, and meditation that I am a child of God. I know that He loves and cares for all His children. I know that God has a plan for each of us here on this earth. Having knowledge and assurance of this plan in my life has helped me to cultivate further my relationship with my Father in Heaven and come to appreciate even greater the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. As a Mormon, I enjoy scripture and revelation that has already been given and also have the blessing of listening to a modern day prophet speak to me today. He communicates the message that God would have us hear for our time and circumstances now. Its an amazing blessing to hear and listen to him speak and as I have strived to follow his counsel my life has been always blessed for it.

How I live my faith

I read scriptures and pray with my family daily. We normally have family time set aside one night of the week where we will discuss a gospel topic, play games, and have a dessert. We attend church each sunday as a family. I am serving in my local church as an elder quorum president. My responsibilities involve overseeing spiritual and physical needs of the families that have been assigned to my quorum. I visit families and share gospel messages. I attend meetings to discuss how we can reach out to and help families and individuals who may be in need. I help coordinate church activities and service projects as needed. I pay tithing to my church. I go to the Temple and participate in special saving ordinances such as baptisms for the dead.
