Hi I'm John Adams

Idahoan w/ soft spot for Seattle. I'm not that "John Adams" but do love history and see it repeating. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Child of God. Husband to Cherice. Father of five. Find joy in accounting and baseball. Favorite work day of the month is the 5th when we begin to close the books - favorite time of the year is March when there is hope that the Mariners may actually be good again. My favorite hobby is studying the cycles of history and wondering about who will be the next "heroes" as another cycle begins to go around.

Why I am a Mormon

I like to ask questions and the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only place where I have been able to find answers to my questions or else have hope that as I learn and grow in the gospel that one day I am promised to receive the answers even if at the present time there doesn't appear to be an answer. There is good in other places, in science, with other people, etc. but I know of no other place where this is available.

How I live my faith

In everything I do. I see gospel principles throughout all my activities--whether it is teaching my sons, watching my daughters express their talents through music, spending time in the outdoors with my father, studying government with friends, or watching an "inspirational" movie with my wife. My church callings/responsibilities/choices include teaching the 6 year olds at church, home teaching some amazing families who help me better see and prepare for the next "cycle" of history, attending youth activities of my children, doing Family History work, attending the temple when I can find time, reading the scriptures and praying individually and with my family, and just seeing the beauty of this world.
