Hi I'm Josiah and Clark

We're Mormons

About Me

I'm 29 years young. I've been married five years and have two kids (girl and a boy) and am currently attending med school. I love playing music and sports. I've played drums guitar and piano in some bands, and have influence from artists such as Dave Matthews, Radiohead, 3Eb, Foo Fighters, Antoine Dufour, Andy Mckee, and many others. I also love watching and playing Basketball and Football.

Why I am a Mormon

There's something missing in each of our lives, and we all seek to fill that need in different ways. Some use sports, music, or other media. Others, unfortunately, turn to more destructive habbits like drugs, alcohol or worse. I'm a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ satisfies my soul in a way nothing else can. As Christ taught in John 4, whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst. I know this is His true church because of the well of living water I have whitnessed springing forth in my life since incorporating the teachings of Christ into it, and want nothing more than to share with others how satisfying his word is, and how much our Father in Heaven desires each of us to return to his presence.

How I live my faith

Living a wholesome life in this era is challenging. Values once held as self evident are now being distorted and excised from the fabric of society. To put in Biblical terms, they call good evil and evil good. I increase my faith by holding to the iron word of God by daily study of the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and the words of His chosen Prophet and Apostles as given through General Conference to bolster my testimony and to resist the firey darts of the adversary. The best way to strengthen faith is to serve others. I have worked with the Boy Scouts in my ward for three years, and currently teach the 8, 9 and 10 year old children for Sunday School. We're now starting in the New Testament, and I'm really excited to share the testimonies of the Savior's Apostles of the Old World with them.
