Hi I'm Karen Eckel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I own (along with two partners) a Healthcare Company that takes Ancillary Services to Nursing Homes in 5 states. I am a wife, mother, mother-in-law, daughter, sister and aunt. Someday I will be a grandmother too!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was blessed to have wonderful parents who seached for truth just a few years before I was born. I continue to be a Mormon because I know the teachings I have been taught throughout my life are true. I know they are true because I have received a personal witness through the Holy Ghost. I have had many personal spiritual experiences in my life that confirm to me that my Heavenly Father knows me personally and wants to bless me.

How I live my faith

I strive daily to have personal scripture study and prayer to strenthen my relationship with my Heavenly Father and Savior. I attend chuch each week and serve in the largest women's organization in the world - The Relief Society. I love working with such great women througout Northwest Ohio. I am excited when given opportunities to share my values with others. The best way I can live my faith, is through example - living my beliefs, and hopefully having a positive impact on others.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Karen Eckel
Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior, the Son of God. He helped create this beautiful earth that we live on under the direction of our Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for each and every one of us and took upon Himself our sins, our sorrows and our afflictions. It is through His atoning sacrifice that we are able to live with Him and our Heavenly Father again, in the hereafter. Show more Show less
