Hi I'm Sonya Bell

I live in GA with my husband and four kids. I love to teach people about health and wellness. I am a mom, mentor, & I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I married my college sweetheart, and we have four kids, ages ranging from 14years old to 17months old. I am very involved with my kids and their many activities. After my second son was diagnosed with autism, our lives completely changed. I put a lot of time into researching autism, and I became convinced that a lot of lifestyle changes were needed. I was particularly inspired to change my family's diet. It's important for me to educate and empower others regarding their health and well-being. I also know that I need my "ME TIME". I enjoy Pilates and I enjoy taking long walks.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 26 years. I was invited by my uncle to hear the discussions by the elders. Although my family is mostly baptist, my mom did not object to my desire to learn more about the church. I had a desire to know more about God and his plan for me. I knew that Heavenly Father knew me then at the age of 12. I continue to feel the love and the presence of the Lord in my life to this day. I am a pioneer in my family!

How I live my faith

I have always been the kind of person who has to stay busy doing something. Yes, I stay busy with my active kids, but I also enjoy serving others. I live my faith by doing for others, not expecting anything in return. I also walk by faith daily, praying throughout the day for guidance and strength.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Sonya Bell
It is important for us to take care of our bodies, because we only get ONE! We have been given stewardship over our bodies. We need to be obedient. Many health problems today may be avoided if we take better care of our bodies. Our bodies are called temples because temples are sacred and special. If we view temples as holy vessels and protect them, and consider bodies as such, then we would take honor in our bodies. We would not defile the temple would we? Then we likewise would not defile our most precious bodies. Show more Show less
