Hi I'm Grady!

I play video games, I clean windows, I sing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live and grew up in Fountain Valley, Ca. I am married to my best friend and am the proud father of 3 boys. I love taking them on adventures around Orange County. I own a Window Cleaning company. It allows me the flexability to work hard for my family, but also arrange my time to be there for them for special events. I enjoy listening to all sorts of music, but I have loved singing with the Orange County Mormon Choral Organization (OCMCO). It is so great to sing sacred music as a hobby and not jusy during Sunday service. I love playing video games. Either with my boys or getting together with friends. Playing games online also gives me the chance to spend time with my friends that I don't get to see as often.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, but I stayed in the Church because I know it is true. As I have lived by the teachings of Jesus Christ I have found joy in my life. I know that the principles of Gospel bring me closer to my family and also closer to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I serve when asked or when I see a need. It can be hard at times to serve. I have not always been good at it. But I have seen that as I serve others I am always blessed. Helping members of the ward with thier needs, teaching at church, or making visits to members who could use some uplifting has been a wonderful oppurtinity. I have never regretted seizing a chance to serve others.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Grady!
No, Mormons are not required to serve a mission. Brothers are stongly encouranged and Sisters are invited if they desire. I chose to serve a mission when I turned 19. It was a big decision to leave my family for 2 years to help share the Gospel, but I wanted to do it. Some of my inspiration came from the hymn with the line, "Because I have been given much, I too must give." The Gospel had been a blessing in my life from a young age and it was a selfish thing to not want to take a time out to share it with others. Although my intent was to help change the lives of others it also changed me and helped to mold me into who I am today. Show more Show less
