Hi I'm Kimberly

I love to spend time hiking with my husband and children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

If it is a nice day, you will probably find me outside! I love to hike. I am a stay-at-home mom. I have six wonderful children: 3 boys and 3 girls. I spend lots of time doing laundry, dishes, cleaning and cooking. I am married to my best friend. He is really good to support me when I want to try something new. We have tons of fun as a family! I love to read and learn. My favorite classic book is Pride and Prejudice. I also enjoy quilting, baking, scrapbooking, collecting pez candy dispensers and home improvements.

Why I am a Mormon

I had a very happy childhood. I have a wonderful Mother and Father. I grew up in a family of 8 children, so I always had someone to play with or talk to. I grew up attending church every week. We had family home evening and always did fun things together as a family. I was taught that if I wanted to know the church was true, I needed to find out for myself. Through scripture study and prayer, I had the confirmation that it was true. I knew that I had a Heavenly Father who loved me. I am so grateful to be able to attend church every week and to be surrounded by other people who are trying to do what is right. None of us are perfect, but we have a desire to be better and keep trying.

How I live my faith

The most important work I do is in the walls of my own home. My focus in life is to raise good kids. We do our best to have a Family Night every Monday, where we talk about the gospel. We also have lots of fun and treats. We try to read scriptures every night as a family. My favorite is the New Testament in Matthew. We also think it is very important to have Family Prayer morning and night. I want my children to be happy. The way that I have found happiness is by serving others. I hope that I can help my children through the trials of life. I hope that they know that they are never alone. They always have a Heavenly Father who loves them and will answer their prayers.
