Hi I'm Bobbie

I've lived in several states around the USA growing up. I am a workplace counselor for the USPS. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of seven, four girls and three boys, all grown and all but the youngest with families of their own. I am currently sewing the crib bedding and nursery items for grandchild number seventeen! Reading is my relaxation. I also play the piano and organ for our church. I enjoy teaching with my job and in church and helping others to work through issues that may arise with work. I love when the kids and grand kids visit it is wild and wooly and so much fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I witnessed my Father in spite of his poor financial situation build a sawmill and cut and haul timber off his farm to build the first Mormon Chapel in Conway AR. I saw his testimony and leadership as we began having services in our new chapel. I was six years old but the effort and service that my Father rendered to help build the chapel greatly impressed me. My Father's service and testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ strengthened me then and strengthens me now. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and know that our Heavenly Father has a plan of happiness for us to follow so that we can be happy.

How I live my faith

For many years I lived my faith by ensuring that our family attended church together each Sunday. Which can be very difficult with a number of children to get ready. I ensured that my children attended their classes and activities for their age groups, which included girls camp, boy scout camp, youth conferences, etc. I taught Sunday School classes and played the piano for childrens' services. Currently I play the organ for our church services and assist teaching childrens' classes. I also serve as the Food Chairman for the quarterly activity of our Womens' Group. I enjoy serving in our church as it give me a sense of fulfillment because I know that we are to follow Christ's example, who lived a life of service.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

I believe we increase our faith in Jesus Christ by studying and learning his teaching and putting into practice what we have learned. Show more Show less
