Hi I'm Jasmine

I grew up in SoCal. I'm an up and coming Beat Boxer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student hoping to crack into the entertainment business as a voice-over actress...so look out for me! I'm sure to make it big one day :) So basically I'm pretty much a fun-loving girl with average grades and a large family (5 brothers and a sister). Fancy that...a mormon with a big family lol. But I couldn't imagine it any other way! I love it! I enjoy a lot of stuff but really am not too good at anything haha. I love baking and cooking but I'm no Betty Crocker. I love to write and act and draw...but my sister is the genius in the art department :) I live for sports! haha especially to watch football! In high school I played Volleyball, Waterpolo, and did Swim. So yup...the basic thing to take from this "about me" ramble, is that I live a normal life and love it :)

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with parents that raised me in this faith but now that I'm in college and can make my own decisions I still hold fast to what I've been given...the blessings of the gospel. I guess the main reason I am a Mormon is the happiness and the joy and the beautiful peace that comes with living as one. The teachings of this Church bring such a calming, reassuring message to my heart that my Savior loves me, he atoned for my sins, and if I follow Him and incorporate Him in my life, I can receive true happiness. Even though I grew up as a Mormon, I still needed to have my own testimony/confirmation that what I was doing with my life was really true and what I needed to be doing. After all, I love my Savior, so if this isn't His true church, why would I follow it?? After deep prayer and study and application of the principles taught, I truly came to the knowledge that this is Christ's church and the teachings of my parents were correct. This is why I am a Mormon :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith internally and externally. Prayer and scripture study as well as service all play a part in my life. I love my Savior and honestly try to center my life around his teachings! I currently participate in my church by attending to the needs and welfare of the women in my singles' branch (a bunch of us non-married kids over 18 in the same geographical location) and those in my area. I love this responsibility as it gives me the ability to meet and help new people and become closer with some of God's children. Along with making sure the women feel wanted and cared for, I help plan and organize events to help the members of my Singles' branch grow together in the gospel and as friends. I strive to help them become happier as they begin to center their own lives on Christ.
