Hi I'm Bryce

I'm a college student and a vertically challenged basketball player. I have a wonderful family and yep I'm a Mormon! :)

About Me

My name is Bryce. Another day in paradise would is a weekend waterskiing with the family. I hate to pass up sporting events and I love the thrill of new challenges. Right now I am serving the Lord as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Each day I have the opportunity to bring Jesus Christ and His Gospel into others lives. Serving as a missionary is such a blessing in my life. Before my mission I enjoyed hanging out with my family, playing basketball, and going waterskiing. After graduating high school I looked forward to the time when I would have an opportunity to serve as a full time servant of the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I want others to know how much Jesus Christ and his Gospel has made all the difference in my life. I know that the Savior lives and loves me. My testimony of Jesus Christ came as I read from a book, the Book of Mormon. As I went through high school I attended scripture studies in the mornings before school. When I was a Junior in high school, a teacher that I had invited us to read from the scriptures everyday. Each morning she would place a little piece of paper on our desk as we came in for the morning study. We would have the opportunity to write a yes or no on the little paper, signifying if we had read from the scriptures on our own the day before. She would keep track and award us with treats for reading. I did not like to write no, and I began to read from the Book of Mormon, nearly every day. I read from the Book of Mormon and I began to appy the things I was learning into my everyday life. An example of this was a scripture in 3 Nephi chapter 11 when Christ is visiting the people on the American continent after his resurrection. He taught the simple truth that contention is of the devil and that we need to avoid contention. As I started to apply this teaching, and many others that I found from the Book of Mormon, I realized I had a knew treasure that began to change my life. The Book of Mormon did change my life. It has led me to serve a two year mission in Florida away from my family. I know that so many people need this treasure, just as I did. It is a life changer, and a faith builder in the Savior and Redeemer of the world, the Lord Jesus Christ. He lives.

How I live my faith

I feel that God expects me to be a little better each day. This is how I try and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I just try to be a little better each day. Reading the scriptures each day helps me to do this. I feel that as I have those real conversations with God through prayer I am given greater strength to be the person that God expects me to be. I feel that what we love we need to share. Right now I have the opporunity to share what I love each day as a full time missionary. I have found that teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ as restored today has brought me so much happiness. I pray that others may find and accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that they can become a part of God's amazing work on the earth today and experience greater peace in their lives than they ever have before.
