Hi I'm Donald

I am a Scientist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like knowing how things work. If I plant an apple seed, I expect to see an apple tree grow. That makes sense to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this faith makes sense to me. At its very core it teaches that God also believes in the law of the harvest. For whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Now this is not to infer than any other religion or philosophy does not accept this concept as taught in the Bible, but I have found that the Mormons really believe it. I believe that I have learned that obedience to God's laws truly does provide one with a greater chance for happiness in this life.

How I live my faith

Mormons teach that chastity and fidelity are still God's law. I have found in my marriage that being true to this law has yielded an abundant harvest of love and happiness in my family. Three of my four children are married now, and I see them experiencing the same positive results in their family relationships. It is like a scientific experiment. Put in the same ingredients and step back and watch the magic work out every time. I am not smart enough to know how everything works so I try to live my faith by trusting God and hoping for his promised harvest in my life.
