Hi I'm Terra

I teach violin and I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I knew since I was 12 years old that I wanted to be an orchestra teacher. Since then I have accomplished that goal and have taken time away from teaching to start my family. I am a mom and am blessed to stay home with my children to see them grow into what I hope will be strong disciples of Christ. In my few spare moments I like to read, make scrapbooks and play my violin.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's church on the earth today. I joined the church when I was 19 after having met missionaries on the college campus I was attending. It took many months of reading, pondering and praying before I decided that the Book of Mormon is true and that I needed to be baptized. I am a Mormon because the Church is true, Jesus Christ lives and loves me and all of us, and through ordinances done in sacred temples, I can be with my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

The Church provides many opportunities for us to become more like Christ by giving us the chance to serve others. I have worked with children, teenagers and adult women in the church to help build God's Kingdom by teaching Sunday School classes, bringing meals to those in need, helping families to move into new homes, cleaning the Temple and other church buildings, and volunteering in the community.
