Hi I'm Connor

I'm a medical student. I'm an Air Force lieutenant. I'm a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 26 year old father of an extremely cute 5 month old baby. I'm currently attending medical school and am an active duty Air Force officer. I love spending time with family, and spend most of my time studying for difficult medical school classes.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born with two parents that were very faithful in the Mormon Church. They were excellent examples to me and taught me to have faith in Jesus Christ. I always believed all that I had heard in church about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, however, when I left for a two year mission in Mexico, I had some reservations. We were inviting people on a daily basis to read the Book of Mormon and pray about the truthfulness and we promised them that they would get an answer that it is true. I realized that I had never had this experience and was unsure that I would receive an answer from God about it. However, I did read and pray and I can say without any doubt in my mind that the Book of Mormon is true, Joseph Smith restored the Church of Jesus Christ and we have a modern day prophet today in Thomas S. Monson. I am so grateful for gospel in my life. I cannot imagine not having the knowledge that I will be with my wife and children after this life.

How I live my faith

Because of my lifelong membership in the church, I have always strived to avoid things that we believe are wrong. I have chosen not to partake in alcohol, tobacco, or extramarital sex. However, I think that it is often harder, instead of avoiding what is bad, to look to do things that are right. Because of that, I try to look for opportunities to serve. I volunteer to clean the churches on occasion and direct traffic when there are large events at the temple or church. I enjoy teaching classes in church on Sundays. I also make it a habit to read the scriptures and pray to our Heavenly Father on a daily basis.
