Hi I'm Josh

I'm a husband and father, I'm a pilot, I'm the youngest of 14, I'm adventurous, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi my name is Josh. I got married in November 2010 to my beautiful and lovely wife. She and I were sealed in the Draper, UT Temple. I work full-time and enjoy coming home to my wife and son. I love to have fun. I love extreme sports. I earned my pilots license in 2009 and I absolutely love to go flying. I love skiing and snowboarding. I love scuba diving, water skiing, and boating in general. One of my favorite places in the world is Lake Powell in southern Utah. I love to travel. I have been to Mexico several times and spent a month in Egypt and Israel (Jerusalem and surrounding areas). I love my family. I am the youngest of 14, consisting of my Mom and Dad, ten sisters, and three brothers. I'm the uncle of 30+ nieces and nephews.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and was always happy with my lifestyle and what I was being taught. The critical moment, however, was when I finally read the Book of Mormon and asked God if it is true. I first read the book when I was fifteen years old, and though I always felt good about what I was taught through the years, it was then that I knew that The Book of Mormon was true and that its translator, Joseph Smith, was a true prophet. The Holy Spirit of God testified to me that the same church and organization that was established by Christ when he dwelt on the earth, with a prophet and twelve apostles, has been restored in its fullness once again. The restored Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me and my family so much happiness. As I have listened to the voice of the prophets of old (The Holy Bible/The Book of Mormon) and our current prophet and apostles, I have always felt closer to Christ.

How I live my faith

When I was 19, I served a two-year mission in Missouri and Kansas. On my mission is when I really learned the importance of serving our neighbors. I got to see the impact that simple service and friendliness has on people no matter what your beliefs. I believe in lending a helping hand to others. Reading the scriptures and praying daily is what helps me to be a better man. My wife and I are excited to raise our children in an environment where they can learn of Christ and the importance and joy of serving Him and our fellow man.
