Hi I'm Bob.

California native, converted Southerner, Boppa to ten, body-boarder, golfer, retired educator and ASA umpire--and a Mormon.

About Me

Married for forty-six years, I have assisted in raising two sons and a daughter (Mom always does the bulk of the work here), retired elementary school teacher and administrator, and continue assisting Grandma in spoiling 10 wonderful grandchildren. Love yard work, watching sports, fishing rivers and streams, and camping at the ocean. Chocolate chip cookies and ice cream (any flavor will do) are my Achilles' heel.

Why I am a Mormon

Since being baptized over 50 years ago I have tried my best to follow all of the commandments of God. The missionaries and members who shared the gospel all promised that if I was faithful in all things, great blessings would follow. That has been so true! It has been a privilege to represent Jesus Christ in many callings simply because I not only believe in Christ, but I believe Christ. We have wonderful grandchildren with whom we have a profound love and relationship--and the continued responsibility to teach through example and service. I have learned many times over that when I am serving in any capacity that I am truly serving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Utilizing retirement time in serving three missions (presently awaiting to begin fourth). When we travel, our destinations are centered in visiting, and being with, our grandchildren. Serving in our community as a volunteer in food banks and humanitarian centers has been so rewarding. Have also had the blessings of being called to many leadership positions in local units.
