I Love the Outdoors, Adventure, and anything FUN! I wish I was a Pirate and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Jeff. I grew up in Southern California and in Oregon. I have spent a few years going to college majoring in Exercise and Sport Science, and playing basketball . I have only about a year left until I graduate. After I finish schooling there I plan on going to school to be a Chiropractor. I dont have a family of my own yet, but I want a career that will allow me to be with them as much as possible. I also enjoy exploring the outdoors. I love to hike far into the back country as oftern as I can. I also Love adventure, I could see myself sailing the seven seas looking for burried treasure, and taking it by force if I needed to.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I was Baptized when I was 8. However when I turned 14 I made the decision to stop attending church, and I set out to do my own thing. At first I felt freedom, I felt I had wasted so much time attending church. I soon fell in to bad friendships and bad habbits. I continued on this path for quite some time, until I woke up one day thinking that if I continued such a life style i wouldnt be here to enjoy life much longer. Over the years of my inactivity in the church a thought would constantly come to me, "if you go back to church it will get better". I had ingnored this prompting for quite some time, until I realized it was my last hope. I then made every effort possible to attend one of the Churchs universities. To my surprise I was accepted. I remember my first visit to church. I sat in the back of the chapel away from everyone else, as the speakers shared their message I felt that every one of them was directed towards me. It was at the moment that I felt I was doing what was right, that this is what had been missing in my life for so long. As I continued to go to church, read the scriptures, and pray I started noticing my life change. I was able to witness the healing power of Jesus Christ in my life, since that day I havent looked back. I am a member of this church because I know that it is the very church that Christ established when he walked the earth 2000 years ago. It has been restored through a Prophet. The Priesthood power has been given to man again today. It is that very power that has helped me overcome some of lifes most difficult challenges. I am greatful for my Savior and all that he has done for me, and now I want nothing more than to serve him the rest of my life.

How I live my faith

One day at a time. I know as many others do, that we all make mistakes every single day, and I am no exception to this. So every day I try to make it a priority to live the best I can. Some days are better than others, but I know it is Important to try. I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ in all the decisions and choices I make. I try to serve others when the oportunity presents itself. Right now I live my faith by helping others learn more about the Church. I am Currently serving as a missionary and loving every minute of it. There is no greater joy than helping others in their time of need.
