Hi I'm Dave

God Lives. Jesus His son is the Christ. He suffered for our sins. I will return to live with him some day.

About Me

My wife (Marsha) and I have been married since 1979, We have five children born in 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1985. I am an old, fat, balding, genius. I am a life-long member of the Church. I served a full-time mission at age 19 in Perú for two years. I still have 90% of my Spanish. I have used it to teach and do training in Mexico. I have also used it to help the full-time missionaries where I live to teach the Gospel. I love to teach. My 'real' job is a Computer Programmer and Database Designer, but I spent several years tutoring algebra, trigonometry, calculus, physics, computer programming, and database and web design. I love to teach.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a Mormon, served a mission, and now I am fully converted.

How I live my faith

I have read the Book of Mormon multiple times, how many, I won't say. I have read it at least three time in Spanish, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful language for prayer. I read every day. The same way that attending my weekly Sunday meetings recharges my soul, reading the Book of Mormon daily allows the Spirit to accompany me, improving everything it touches, smoothing and showing the way, making hard things easy, and making the good better. Daily concurrence with the things that invite the Spirit simplifies my life.
