Hi I'm Sherri

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Arizona and California. Now I live in beautiful East Tennessee.

About Me

I am a mom of five kids, two daughters-in-law and a son-in-law, oldest 27 and youngest almost 13. I am a grandma to three of the most perfect grandkids ever. I've been married to my best friend for 28 years. My favorite things to do are getting together with all of them and eating, playing and enjoying watching them have fun together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I know that the Savior Jesus Christ is the head of this Church. I place my trust and faith in Him. Being a Mormon means putting my family first, and creating bonds with them that will last into the eternities. Being a Mormon means I strive to follow my Savior Jesus Christ. Being a Mormon means sacrifice and service. It means having true peace and joy in my life.

How I live my faith

My family and I attend church meetings every Sunday. At church, my current assignment is with the teenage girls. I organize weekly Sunday lessons for the 12 and 13 year old girls. I love hanging out with them and they actually teach me as much as I could ever teach them. We also have activities on Wednesday evenings. I get to participate in planning and/or helping to plan spiritual and fun activities for the girls ages 12 to 18.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No. We love to do service. That is part of our life. We serve in our church and we also serve in our communities and neighborhoods and all over the world. Show more Show less
