Hi I'm Jaren

I love life. I live for NOW. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been a resident of Arizona just about my whole life. Growing up was wonderful. I participated in sports, piano lessons, built bike ramps, made people laugh, and did all things a kid would love. I have found this vigor for life that I love to share with everyone. I am not one who judges or tries to separate from others. I love people. I am one who embraces, invites, and loves others. I feel that this is what life is really about... our relationships with others. I have a wonderful family and friends. I create the beauty of my life by having a good attitude. I am currently attending school for Medical Assisting and am planning to go on to be a Life coach/Life Consultant. People are my passion.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it contains so much truth. The way I feel at church, in the temple, reading scripture, praying- is unmatched by anything else. I know that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me. I know that I am a REAL son of His. I know that I have a Savior in Jesus Christ who has felt all my pains and He rejoices with me in all my successes. There have been times in my life that things have not gone as I have planned. So it is for many people. When I was a Sophomore in high school my mom and dad got divorced. I was devastated. I turned to different forms of self medication to help ease the pain. Things got worse. The result was 18 months in a treatment facility and a severely damaged spirit. At that time of my life one thing was constant- The gospel of Jesus Christ. I held on to the truths that I had learned as a small child. Clinging to those truths and the support of my family and church leaders I was able to complete that program and go on to give back to others. I worked at a treatment center for adolescent males for 3 1/2 years and I am now volunteering as an adult mentor. The church has been that solid foundation that has sustained me through all the challenges of life. I would ask anyone who is searching to prayerfully seek truth. Truth is undoubtedly found in this church. Jesus Christ lives and He is YOUR personal savior. That message alone has the power to change the hearts of all mankind.

How I live my faith

I serve in any way I can. I have served in church as a Sunday School teacher, as a coordinator for young single adult (18-30) activities, and with the youth in other facets. I love helping anyone I can with anything they may need. There are so many opportunities to serve all around. I don't wait for others to ask me to serve, I look for ways I can help and then ACT. Some of my best friends have come from opportunities to serve them or they took the opportunity to serve me. I live to serve.
