Hi I'm Aimee

I'm a Mormon. But I'm also a wife. An older sister. A daughter. A photographer. Landscape Designer. A child of God. AZ is my home.

About Me

I have a wonderful husband who I married for time and all eternity in 2009 in the Mesa, AZ Temple. I studied landscape architecture and graduated in 2010. I am also a photographer. I have my own business and also work part-time as a newborn photographer for 2 hospitals here in Arizona. I love music and have played piano since I was 9. I enjoy playing and singing along with my husband, who plays guitar. Music is very important in our home and we hope that our future children will appreciate and learn to develop the same love we have for it. Spanish is my native language, as my family is from Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico. I am fluent in Spanish, English, and am an intermediate in French. I love to travel and experience the world that God has created. Every day I am reminded of the love He has for us.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a daughter of wonderful parents who converted to the church before I was born. For them, it was important to have values that would help them in raising their future children. The church's emphasis on the importance of family was what initially attracted my parents to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Families can be forever- now that's the best promise I have ever heard! The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me withstand trials throughout my life and has allowed me a life full of love and happiness that cannot be found anywhere else.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not just something I do, but a part of who I am. I enjoy serving in the church and participating in activities that strengthen my testimony and confirm that I am part of this "great and marvelous work". My husband is currently the 1st counselor in our Spanish ward. I support him in his calling and he supports me in mine. I have served as the Primary Music Leader for many years. I worked to teach children songs and hymns and learn the gospel through music. It is amazing just how much children learn of the gospel through inspiring music. A primary song is something that even as adults, years later, we never forget. Just recently, I was called to serve as first counselor in Primary. I am excited to continue serving in this organization and know that I still have so much to learn and much to serve. I am also the ward's pianist.
