Hi I'm Bryce

I was married in the famous temple in Salt Lake City. My wife and I have 7 children. I write patents. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have my own writing business. My wife and I homeschool our children. I love the game "Jeopardy!" and love to play chess.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I grew up in the Church, I was not totally sure the Church was true. Yet, as a teenager, I couldn't imagine changing religions because mine was the only one that made any sense to me whatsoever. While I was a missionary, I came to know the Church is true--and saw the gospel of Jesus Christ literally transform people. When a small Bolivian lady hugged me and said, "We can't thank you enough for teaching us", it made the entire 2 years as a missionary totally worthwhile. After 26 years of marriage, I see how the Church and the teachings of Jesus and of prophets have made my life far happier than it would have been without those things--and what it has done for my wife and children as well.

How I live my faith

I have spent about 1/3 of my adult life working with Boy Scouts or Cub Scouts in some capacity. including my 2 sons. To help those young boys feel the Spirit of God in their lives and want to be missionaries someday is rewarding--but not easy! I have 3 families in the Church that I am assigned to visit each month and see how they're doing and what they need help with. Some of those people have become very good friends and have changed their lives to be more in accordance with Church teachings. My family blesses the food at each meal. We read the scriptures and pray together every night--and have a family night together every Monday. Those simple things, though sometimes hard to establish in the beginning, especially with very small children and their very short attention spans, bring great blessings if continued daily over many years. Don't let other activities keep you from doing them !
