Hi I'm Daniel

I am student of government. I love my wife, the outdoors, cooking spicy food, and traveling. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

When I'm not studying for graduate school exams, I am a musician and I love to sing Jazz and Classical. I love to hike and to be outdoors. My favorite past time is to go for a long drive in the countryside with my wife. What makes me the happiest is to have fun with my family. I served a mission in Salt Lake City, Utah and I was Spanish-speaking. It gave me such a great love for the Hispanic people. I like to ponder and understand different philosophies about a variety of subjects and form arguments to defend my way of thinking. One of my greatest closet passions is architecture. I especially love Spanish and Italian architecture. I am a glutton for travel. I have been to England, Mexico, Canada, and most of the 50 states. My future plans include working for government, owning rental properties, and traveling the world with my family, perhaps on missions or for humanitarian work.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but I wanted to understand for myself if it was true. I especially wanted to understand more about Jesus Christ. As I continued to go to church, particapate, read from the scriptures, and especially praying every night, I began and am still learning and drawing closer to my Heavenly Father and His Son. I know that living the gospel makes changes in our lives. I know that this is the only way to have lasting and enduring happiness. I love this gospel and all that it has changed in my life. I didn't come here to earth to stay the same person. I plan to change and become better and the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way to do it. I know thats a fact.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by showing people every day that Jesus Christ is real and that His attributes can all be a part of our lives. I like to encourage people to draw closer to Jesus Christ so that He can change their lives. I don't change the lives of anyone. I just introduce them to someone that can. I help them recognize the blessings that God has already given them in life and I help them know and feel how they can receive more through praying, reading the Book of Mormon and the other scriptures, and coming to church every Sunday. I am the executive secretary right now which is a position in which I help the bishop and organize his appointments. I live my faith by being kind to everyone and making sure that everyone is involved. I am a very non-judgmental person and I try to understand people's views. The Savior was very patient with people and I firmly believe that patience is among the most honorable of attributes.
