Hi I'm Ema

I am a daughter to Hispanic immigrants with a Bachelors degree in International Business and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy mother of two young children ages 4, 2 and with one on the way. My husband and I were married 6 years ago in California where we were both born and raised. I am a stay-at-home mom and spend most of my days playing with my children and cleaning up messes. In my free time I love to shop! I have tried to learn how to garden but most of my attempts have died. I also enjoy reading, exercising, quilting, photography and family game nights.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is God's church. I have felt the Holy Ghost in my heart witness that it is true. I was so happy to have stumbled upon the church after a long search for God. Because I have felt this witness in my heart my testimony is something no one can take away from me. I know that the standards of living protect us so that we can live happy and fulfilling lives. I am so happy that God has sent us a prophet on earth to guide us in these perilous times when there seems to be so much darkness everywhere. Being a Mormon brings me peace through all of life's surprising trials. I know that God hears my prayers and that He has a specific plan for me on this earth. I know that as I follow the prophets my family and I will be able to live in heaven together forever. Even though my dad is not a Mormon he sees how much happiness it has brought me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by volunteering with young women in my congregation. I support their parents' efforts to bring them to Christ and however else they need help whether as a tutor, coach, leader, friend, and Sunday School teacher. We also meet once a month for an activity where we teach them self-reliance, serve others or just have fun together. I also visit with several sisters in my congregation and make sure that they are doing well and help them when needs arise. Above all, I live my faith everyday by learning to be like our Savior, Jesus Christ and treating and loving others as He does.
