Hi I'm Jordan!

I enjoy binding leather books, chasing ducks, and putting on clothes fresh out of the dryer... preferably socks. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love being active and playing sports. My favorite sports are soccer, ultimate frisbee, tennis, and football. I like to camp and do things outside. I love learning new things. I thoroughly enjoy riddles and puzzles. I enjoy being with family and friends. I come from a family of 9 and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

Because it is true. This gospel is not a fairy tale. Families can actually be happy forever. We are all God's children and He loves us more than we can ever possibly imagine. I grew up a Mormon. All of my family is a member of this church. But I still had to gain a witness and a testimony of this gospel for myself. I could see at a young age that my family was a little bit different. I felt more love and kindness within my family. It seemed like we had a secret that no one else knew about. We didn't always get along or see eye to eye but we had a bond that other families did not have. As time went on I began to feel this same love in other families and other settings. I came to realize that the feeling I had was the love of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. I found that as I lived according to the commandments of God that it was easier to feel His love. My family has no secret. Everyone can feel the same love from Our Savior. I am a Mormon because I know that My Savior lives and loves me. I want to live a life that He would be proud of. I am a Mormon because it feels right and I am happier when I live this religion.

How I live my faith

I live my faith relying on My Savior. I am far from perfect. I have many faults and weaknesses, but I know that through Jesus Christ and His atonement we can be cleansed of all of our sins. All of our feelings of guilt, shame, and inadequacy can be replaced with love, if we follow the teachings of the Son of God. Every member of our church is encouraged to share their testimony with those around them. I try my best to fulfill that commitment.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

They will talk about whatever you want. They are real people, just like you and me. Obviously they will try to tie the conversation into something gospel related, because that is their purpose. The missionaries of our church are sent out to testify of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Their call is to strenghten faith in Him and Our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
