Hi I'm Annika

I'm a wife to my high school sweetheart, I am a goal maker, a perfectionist, I love the outdoors, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 years old. I waited for my high school sweetheart while he served a mission for 2 years in Long Beach, California. We were sealed in the Draper Temple 2 months later, on September 15, 2009. I work full time in the FamilySearch Department at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints headquarters. I still haven't decided what I'd like to go to school for. I love the outdoors camping, hiking, skiing, wakeboarding, swimming, and rock climbing. Some other hobbies are scrapbooking, cleaning, photography, and crafts. I have goals in the future to run a marathon, have children, buy a house, travel, and serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Like many people in Utah, I was born into a Mormon family. My parents did a tremendous job staying active in the church when growing up, while some of their family members fell away from it. As a teenager, I first learned for myself that the church is true, by building a testimony of Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best in my Sunday school calling, teaching the 12-13 year old kids. I read my patriarchal blessing often, to remind myself of the things I am promised if I continue to live my life righteously. I strive to keep the Sabbath day Holy, and to be a good example to those around me.
