Hi I'm Melinda

I am an active stay-at-home mother of four. I am doing the hardest job I have ever loved!! I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi there! I am Melinda. I am a wife to a wonderful man and a mother to four awesome and active kids. I have the opportunity to stay at home and raise my kids. It is the hardest job that I have ever loved! I love to be outdoors and enjoy all the beautiful things that my Heavenly Father created. I love living in the area that gives me the opportunity to hike, camp, kayak, and enjoy some of the most peaceful and scenic places created. I love photography, gardening, cooking, sewing and creating new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that every strong Mormon has to be converted. Even if they are born into the Church they need to know for themselves at one point, if the Church is true. I did this when I was a teenager and from my experience I will never deny that the Church is true. I found out for myself. Since that great experience I have given all that I am to doing the will of my Heavenly Father. It has been the greatest blessing of my life. I am so happy and greatful for my knowledge of the Savior Jesus Christ. Through Him I have been able to overcome a lot of hardships and find happiness in them.

How I live my faith

I love the community that I live in. I love visiting the elderly and helping them. I love to drop by my neighbors and help them clean, mow the lawn or just listen as they talk. I think that knowing the people around you gives you a foundation you can't find any other way. It provides a place where you feel that you belong. I teach the adults in my church. It has been a difficult thing for me to do but I have learned so much by truly studying the scriptures. The word of God has brought such happiness and peace into my home and me personally. There is definitely power and strength in the scriptures.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Mormons don't just help each other, we help all of those around us and throughout the world. That is one thing I love about this church. We believe that everyone is a Child of God. So that conects us in a very special way. We serve each other and our neighbors, no matter what religion or nationality they may be. We also give money so that the church can help people throughout the world. Millions of dollars are donated by Mormons and then distributed to people who need help. Many of these people are not Mormons. We follow the teachings of Jesus Christ to love our neighbors. We try to feed the hungry, cloth the naked, comfort the afflicted and love others. I love being a part of something so great. Show more Show less
