Hi I'm Pepper

I'm an ESL teacher at a university. I'm a farm/country girl. I love to read, crochet and watch movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married, am closing in on my 50s and have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Fibromyalgia. Prior to contracting CFS/Fibro, I was highly active. I enjoyed riding my BMW motorcycle, horses and bicycles) rollerblading, hiking, etc. Even through I can't do those things, or a lot of things, anymore, having CFS/Fibro has been a tremendous blessing in my life. I wouldn't trade my life or wish it to be any different than what it is. The journey has led me to a new life and a new career. I teach in a university intensive English program. I live in the country. I have a quiet, peace-filled and peaceful life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I found the idea that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ were removed from, uninterested in, and didn't know me by name illogical. Jesus Christ didn't come 2000 years ago, said what he had to say and then "took his marbles and went home" (as it were) never to speak to us again. So, when I met the missionaries and they told me about the First Vision of Joseph Smith in which Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ called Joseph by his name, I knew I had found the truth.

How I live my faith

Romans 12:12 sums it up best for me: "Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer."
