Hi I'm Pete

I want to change the world & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am your average Australian, who loves to relax and enjoy the small things in life. If its sporting I will be there! Ive traveled to America many times, to parts of Europe and Asia and the Pacific. You could say I have itchy feet! Ive worked in the hotel industry and then transport and logistics before becoming a full time missionary for the church. Helping people from South Australia through to the Top End!

Why I am a Mormon

That is a long story, but in short, after being born into the church and many many years of not attending and living my own life, in search of what many of us call "happiness", I thought I had it all. When you realize that you have "it all" and its not quite what you thought it would feel like, you question yourself and those things in your life. My parents were always the happiest people I knew in my life and so I thought I would search and find what it was that made them so happy. After taking the first steps myself, God took care of the rest and through prayer and experiences I was able to learn that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, wasn't just a group of happy people, but there was a great truth. I was able to also meet one of the 12 Apostles of the church and again had great experiences with the spirit of God and felt him communicating with me! Its so profound and yet so simple, The Church Is True!!!

How I live my faith

Currently I live my faith by serving as a full time representative of the church, in inviting those that are interested to learn about the church and act as a guide to help them find that same truth that is available to all. Previous to this service I was responsible for a geographical area of Young People aged 18 - 30 in helping to arrange activities for both spiritual and social growth. I have had some of the most sacred and also entertaining experiences of my life through some of these events and activities.
