Hi I'm Wanda

My family hails from Virginia. I come from a rich Mormon Heritage dating back to the 1800's. I'm fifth generation.

About Me

I am a single professional. One of six children living in VA. I live a very active lifestyle, some even say I EAT LIFE! You can dress me up or dress me down and I game for the event. I have spent most of my adult life in a service related business and am now starting my own. I make my living by speaking to others and ironically is how best I serve others...through sharing.

Why I am a Mormon

Like all, I had to be converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I say Gospel of Jesus Christ because His gospel is not unique to the Mormon faith. Jesus Christ truths are where ever truth is found. However, in my search for truth, and it has been a search, among other popular sects, and study, I have found no greater expansion and understanding of the purpose of life and its eternal principles than in my own backyard. Thank God that my loving ancestors and predcessors had the same convictions and tesitmonies that I have developed! They were Saviors to me. They accepted the truths of the Gospel and passed them on. What greater way could I honor what they have given me, than to pass this great gift forward. Not because of them, but because it is truth!

How I live my faith

Daily I begin by feeding myself spiritually. I do what most do, read, ponder/mediate, pray, and then go about striving to live what I learn and believe to be "Christ Like" teachings. Secondly, I live in awareness. Through my daily experiences I pay attention to what is happening in and around me. Nothing is by chance. There are so many lessons to be learned. These lessons are how I grow and develop more "Christ Like" characteristics. Third, I bare the fruits of my efforts through grace and am changed as harmony and peace sets in. I'm transform and become one with Him who is mighty to change. I live my truth and am my authentic self, as I make my way through life's experiences. I can think of know greater role model. Representing Him is my lifes mission!

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Wanda
I have been a temple worker for about 16 years now. I volunteer on Saturdays in Washington D C temple. Our temples are filled with the sacred responsibilities that both create and bring together families eternally. Those who choose to live the standards that are set by Christ, through the living scriptures, are privleged to enter His home to receive greater understanding and insights spiritually. Like anything thing else we strive to learn, it requires regular attendance. Our temples are filled with understanding to life and it purpose. Even the temple structure's themselves, as well as everything that takes place within, is symbolic and helps us in our efforts understand our purpose, through the Savior's love for us, and the Plan of Salvation. No other place has more Illuminating features, truths and practices on earth! Come, find peace, joy, understanding, and above all the love He has for us all! Show more Show less
