Hi I'm K.C.

A pioneer in high technology with strong spiritual grounding. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I’m a father of three sons, one daughter and in less than two years now have three grand-daughters! I live in North Florida and I’m a Marketing executive for a large, high-tech networking company. In my career, I have spent half my life involved with computers, software and networking technology which is something I really enjoy. I’m also “a car guy” so I enjoy tinkering with and driving fine German sports cars.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and gained my own testimony of Jesus Christ early on in my life. Attending after school activities with friends and through meetings on Sundays with my family, these activities in my life helped me to grow a strong testimony of my Savior and His Gospel. I would like to share three key reasons why “I’m a Mormon”. FOCUS ON FAMILY: The Lord’s Church is all about family…family around you today, as well as family that came before you. I love genealogy and the ability to learn about my ancestors. My heritage stems from early pioneers that came across the ocean, then across the plains to Utah. I respect their beliefs, diligence and hardships so much and know that the continued challenges they faced to be happy in their lives were successful and not lost, and are continuing in me through my existence and faith today. MORAL VALUES: In today’s society this is practically non-existent. If it weren’t for my friends growing up, and other members later in my life that set great examples, I could only wonder where my values would have aligned. Having the perspective of a parent now, and being able to raise my family with these core values has truly been a blessing indeed. MY LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST: Never the last, nor the least, but the most important in my life. His sacrifice for me so that I can return home to Him, my Heavenly Father and extended family one day for all eternity is what makes everything worth it. There are numerous blessings and even a miracle or two that I have experienced in my life that would have never occurred without my faith and love in Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon, His teachings along with revelation from modern day prophets, all of His attributes of kindness, of obedience and charity have etched a series of “best practices” in my life that continue to help me strive to do better. I know that I am not perfect, but I am trying with His help as well as others in my life. My testimony is simple. These things I have shared are true. I am a Mormon…are you? In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have and continue to work with the local youth of our church. I assist them in developing their skills of organization through planning fun activities that create lifetime memories. Youth conferences, dance events, activities servicing others, and assisting with graduation from church sponsored seminary programs are several areas of focus for me. I am not paid for my time as is our practice, but the blessings received through my service to our youth is knowing that their valiant spirits of today will mold them into loving and caring parents tomorrow. I also have several families that I "home teach" where I visit with them monthly, help them and care for them whenever the need arises. On a monthly basis, I also share Gospel principles from the Holy Bible and Book of Mormon as well as teachings from our leaders to our congregations throughout our area. Maintaining love and harmony in my own home is a top priority for me as well.
