Hi I'm Karl

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. I love to snowboard, dirt bike, funeral potatoes, and green Jell-O. I’m currently on a mission in Pennsylvania helping others come unto Christ and gain faith in him.

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been members for a very long time and the things they have taught me since I was a little boy has stuck with me thru the years. I am grateful for the things they have taught me. Well I didn’t always believe in the book of Mormon. I remember when I was in young men’s my leaders would always tell me to pray to know if Joseph Smith was a true prophet and if the book of Mormon was a true book. Well I tried when was young praying to know if it was all true but I didn’t receive the answer I was looking for so I didn’t realize it was true. It took me until I was 19 to figure out that the book of Mormon was true. When I figured out that it was true I was a student at a local college and I took a cores on the book of Mormon and after finishing the class I then knelt down and ask our heavenly father if it was true then I received my answer that I was ready for. By the still small voice of the spirit it told me that I always knew that the book of Mormon was true. From that point on my understanding of God’s plan for us has grow. I have seen more of God’s love and blessings, and now I am serving a mission in Pennsylvania Philadelphia area sharing his plan with others. And helping them to simply come unto Christ.

How I live my faith

Righteously, every day striving to do good for everyone, and being obedient to all that our heavenly father wants us to do. So the hard commandment like the word of wisdom and church for three hours doesn’t bother me because I know that I feel the spirit when I do these commandments and it is what god wants me to do.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Karl
The Mormon life style is hard work it takes all of my time everyday of the week as a missionary, and even as a member in Idaho it takes a lot of my time. All the time I spent helping others has been wroth my time though, it is so rewarding to serve others. I don’t know how people could live without the church and without being a member. I don’t even want to think of what type of person I would be without this church I know that it wouldn’t be in line with what our Heavenly Father would want of me. So I don’t think I could stand myself without this great and glorious church, this great and glorious gospel, and this great and glorious atonement of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?
