Hi I'm Annie

I'm a law student.

About Me

I am currently a law student and enjoy learning about other cultures and languages.

Why I am a Mormon

My Mom and Dad became Mormon when I was a little girl after listening to the missionaries teach us in our home. I noticed a great change in my family after we began to live the principles that the missionaries taught us. I am a Mormon because I love who I am when I am living this way. I have confidence in who I am and where I came from, and I am happy because I know that I am doing what God wants me to be doing, in all aspects of my life. I love being Mormon!

How I live my faith

My faith affects me positively in every aspect of my life. Not only does it help me in my relationships with others, but it also helps me as I am studying in law school because I better understand how the things I learn there relate to the teachings of Jesus Christ. My faith also helps me serve others. I served a mission for a year and a half of my life in southern Texas (before I began law school), and I currently visit two women every month and learn from them about their perspectives on life and faith. I learn a lot from them and have been able to gain great friendships with women of different ages and backgrounds. Additionally, I teach nine-year-old children each Sunday, which helps me understand the scriptures better, and I am helping plan a summer camp for teenage girls in my area. All of these activities help me remember that God has given me certain gifts to bless others because he is our father; we are all his children, and he loves us equally. In addition to helping me study law and serve others, my faith also helps me through challenges in life.
