Hi I'm Jameson

I'm a student, a music lover, accident prone, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Jameson. I love living in Washington where it rains all the time! I love going to school and learning new things every day. I played lacrosse in high school and am a big fan of it still. I learned many valuable lessons from playing lacrosse, a lot having to do with working with others as a team towards a common goal. My friends and I love indie music, and going to concerts. I like playing Monopoly with my friends and winning. Right now I am a missionary in the Arizona Mesa Mission, and I love being in Arizona. I've grown to love the heat and the sun almost as much as I love the clouds and rain in Washington.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it simply makes sense. It makes sense to me that because God loves us he would call prophets. It makes sense that God has one church, one way to return to live with him again. As I have prayed and asked questions, I have received answers that tell me these things are true. As I read from the Book of Mormon, and pray and ask God if it is true, I receive the same answer every time-that it is true. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet, and that Jesus Christ truly is our Savior. I am a Mormon because through the Holy Ghost, God has told me this is where I need to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the little things. Daily scripture study and prayer are the bedrock of life. I can't go a day without either. Every day as I do so, my faith is strengthened even more. Attending church every Sunday solidifies the things that I learn, and allows me the strength to make changes every day of the week. My faith defines me. Every decision that I make is influenced by my faith, my trust in Heavenly Father, and my desire to live with Him again.
