Hi I'm Troy

I am from the great state of Idaho, and now i'm sharing the Gospel in Georgia.

About Me

I am from Burton, Idaho and am curently serving a mission in Atlanta, Georgia. I love to paintball, snowboard, and draw. If I had to say my favorite book in the Bible it would be The Gospel of John.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in what the Savior said to his disiples, "by their fruits ye shall know them." I have seen the fruits of the Gospel. The people it builds, the lives changes, the truth it teaches. These things, as well as a thousand others, witness to me that God has restored His Church on the earth. If I could ask one thing of anybody, it would be to sincerly read The Book of Mormon. They would then know that it comes from God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it. I am teaching people from all walks of life of Jesus Christ and his Gospel. God has given so much to me that I wish to give it to others. As the Savior said "lovest thou me? then feed my sheep." (John 21:17) God would have us lift others, and there is no better way to do that then to offer then hope in Jesus Christ.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Troy
We are saved by grace. It is impossible to work your way to heaven on your own. This being said, God requires that we do our part if we want to be partakers of salvation. And all that he requires is that we live his gospel. As The Book of Mormon states, "for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do" (2 Nephi 25:23) Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Troy
For the same reason the Apostles did. To spread the good news of the gospel with every creature. After being lost for centuries the one true gospel of the One True God is establish on the earth again. People dont always understand the power this gospel has, and missionaires, as well as members, have an oppertununity to share that with others. Show more Show less
