Hi I'm Evan

I live in North Texas and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 34 year old university professor, researcher, and physical therapist. I'm also a father of 3 boys and 1 girl. I enjoy going on trips with my family and exercising and playing soccer in my free time.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a small town in northern California and was raised Mormon. I am not a convert to the church but feel that every day is a conversion process. I hope to live an honest life, and to be loyal to God and his Son Jesus Christ. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's church and that through the ordinances it extends to all people we can return to live with Him and our families for eternity. This is the great hope of my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures and praying every morning. Sometimes it's hard to get up a few hours before work each day but I have always felt God's influence in my life when I get up early in the morning and take time to ponder. Prayer and scripture study in the Bible and Book of Mormon help keep me grounded in my faith and provide an optimism to each day.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Evan
You can find out if Mormonism is true in the same manner that you can discover what you should do in an ordinary day or in a similar way to how you can find out the answer to life's most perplexing questions. God loves all of his children and has a deep interest in your life. If you pray with real intent, having faith, God will reveal the answer to you in your heart....he will speak peace to you. You have to do your homework. You've got to study it out in your mind. But if you do these things, God will reveal to you the truth of all things. I know it.  Show more Show less
