Hi I'm Bryton

I'm a wife, I'm a stay at home mom, I love to craft, I love to have fun, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man who blessed me with a beautiful daughter. I am an obsessive crafter! I love anything that i can make. I am a cake decorator! I love to goof off and have fun. I am totally random most of the time! And i love spending time with my family!!

Why I am a Mormon

Well, i grew up mormon. I had a great family who was super loving and i had lots of sibling to pick on. But when i got to high school i started to ask questions and wanted to find out the truth about the Book of Mormon. I prayed about it for a while and just couldnt seem to get an answer so i assumed it was wrong. I started attending christian churches and seemed like i was growing closer to God. I met my husband and we dated for a few years and then got married. We had a baby a year after that and then i started to worry about what these churches were going to teach my baby. I started soul searching to find out what it was that we believed as a family. At the same time i was realizing that i had lost my relationship with my Heavenly Father. So one day i was really upset about this and praying my heart out to God when the missionaries knocked on my door. I was pretty upset because i had already gone down that path and i knew it wasn't for me. They talked to me and i was crying too hard to even speak and so they said they would come back another time. I told my husband and he said he would listen to them and kindly ask them to not come back. Well when they came he listened, and then he set up another time to meet with them. And he continued to do this for months after that. After a few months of being confused i had finally realized that it was truth they were teaching of but my husband had not. He was still confused because he had been taught all his life that it was all lies. So one night at a discussion we were watching the testaments movie and he leaned over to me and said he was gonna tell them that he didn't think they should come back again. We continued to watch the movie and he started to cry and then leaned over again and asked if he could instead set a baptism date. I was filled with so much happiness that he was asking for this!! We set up a date and he has been the best member ever! He is so faithful and true to the church. He now is a priesthood holder in our home and is taking me and our daughter to the temple in a few weeks! I am just so grateful for the Lord preparing me for this situation and allowing me to bring my husband with me into the truth!!

How I live my faith

Both my husband and I are primary teachers. He teaches the 10 year olds and i teach the 6 year olds. We love our callings!!

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

Bryton
This is the very question that got us thinking about what our family believed and set us on our journey to the truth. When we found out that other churches believed that we would not even care about their families in Heaven but instead be so in love with Christ that it wouldn't matter, we got a little upset. What is the reason for investing your life in a family if you do not get to keep them, or have anything to do with them in heaven? I believe with out a doubt that i will be with my family in heaven. I believe that my husband and I are each others greatest assets and that i need him to be the best I can be. I do believe that families are forever!! Literally!! Show more Show less
