Hi I'm Kathryn

I help raise a growing family with my husband and play the piano a lot on the side. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 35-year-old Texan wife, mother, and accompanist. I have been involved with music one way or another my whole life. I love to read, travel, and get together with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that this is the Savior's Church on the earth today. I have been a member of this church my entire life, and my testimony developed during my teenage years, and continues to grow. I believe in present-day revelation. I believe that the Savior communicates with our prophet, President Monson, and we are given council through that medium. I also have a testimony of personal revelation. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know me personally, care about me, and want me to happy through following their commandments and serving my brothers and sisters here on this earth.

How I live my faith

I help out a lot with the music in my congregation. I love the hymns and children's songs of the church. I also have 4 women that I am assigned to "watch over". I visit them regularly and make sure they are doing ok. I love getting to know them through my regular visits and opportunities to serve them.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

The grace our Savior, Jesus Christ provided through his atoning sacrifice is completely necessary to our salvation, and in combination with our works provides the means to gain eternal life. Show more Show less
