Hi I'm C. Todd

I enjoy sports, reading and family time. I served as a missionary in Southern Chile for two years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my Sweetheart for over 20 years. We are the proud parents of four wonderful children. Before marriage, I served as a full-time volunteer missionary in Southern Chile. I enjoy occasionally playing golf and watching baseball games. I don't seem to be able to find as much time as I would like to read but, when I do, I prefer biographies. I earned an MBA and work in the telecommunications industry.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church all my life. I was taught the principles of the restored gospel by my faithful parents. As a boy, their invitation to read the Book of Mormon resulted in my gaining a personal confirmation from the Spirit that God lives and loves His children. Since then, my conviction of the truthfulness of this church continues to grow and strengthen. As I strive to live the gospel of Jesus Christ, I feel peace, happiness and comfort knowing that I am living in a way that pleases the Lord. Through the witness of the Holy Spirit, I know Jesus Christ is our Savior, He loves us and He lives!

How I live my faith

I love to read the Savior's teachings from the Holy Bible and Book of Mormon. As I do so, I feel promptings about how I should act or what I need to change in my personal life. This is a continuous process that helps me know I am drawing closer to the Lord. The church provides many opportunities for me to serve others. I currently serve young single adults ages 18-30. I am involved in organizing conferences, social events, service projects and support a weekly gospel study class. Monthly, I am also assigned to speak to congregations about the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am also assigned to teach and care for three families belonging to my home congregation. Opportunities to serve others have been a great blessing in my life. My most important responsibilities are related to my family. In addition to supporting my wife and children in recreational activities, we set aside time to strengthen each others' spirituality through church attendance on Sundays, participating in family lessons and activities on Monday nights, and daily prayer and scripture reading. These habits have proven to minimize bad influences in the world and bring greater peace and protection to us personally and as a family.
