Hi I'm Jordan

I'm an intramural soccer playing college student and uncle of 32 of the cutest kids ever... and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Those who know me best know that I love to learn. Whether it is in a classroom, from a book, or better yet just simply out living life, I love to gain new insights and perspective. I am a 22 year old college student with high hopes of going to medical school. I have always wanted to be a doctor because I figure that will keep me learning and allow me to give back and help people everyday. I come from a family of 13 (10 siblings). I'm currently unmarried but I hope to have a family of my own some day. All my life I have enjoyed playing and watching sports. Soccer is my favorite! I also enjoy music as well as outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and fishing. One word that describes me well is the word real. I'm just me but I enjoy that.

Why I am a Mormon

Honestly, it's because nothing else has brought me more happiness then applying the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ found within this Church. Those teachings have helped me in every aspect of my life. My family is united and strengthened daily because of our membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and that is extremely important to me. Those teachings have brought me peace and given me direction by teaching me what God's plan is for all of us, His children. This has helped me know what is important and right in life. I am a Mormon because Jesus Christ lives and is my Savior. I have prayed and come to know for myself that this Church truly is led by him, through a living prophet. This knowledge came through a witness of the Holy Spirit and that witness sustains me.

How I live my faith

Personally, I believe that your faith and your beliefs should be a part of who you are everyday of the week. I will be the first to admit that I am far from perfect but I do my best to 'practice what I preach.' I try to be kind to everyone around me and I strive to see them as Christ sees them. I go to church each week, read my scriptures, and say my prayers. In this church everyone gets the opportunity to be involved. I currently help organize both spiritual and fun activities for a group of college students each week. I love having the opportunity to be involved in blessing the lives of those around me!
