Hi I'm Andrea

I'm a mother, a wife, a registered nurse, and I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful two year old boy. We are expecting another baby this June. Being a mother is easily the most fulfilling thing I have ever done in my life. I am also a registered nurse and enjoy giving care others. I love music and play the piano, flute, and organ. I also love to read! My husband and I like to run together when we can. We have trained and ran quite a few half marathons and marathons.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon foremost because I know it's true, and secondly because it makes me happy. I am so grateful for the direction I have in my life because of the church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through trying to do the things I know are right. I try to be a good example of what I believe to my family, friends, and co-workers. In my church callings, I have been blessed in serving with the children in our area. I love being around their sweet and pure little spirits. They want so much to do what is right and I loved teaching them the gospel each Sunday. Most recently, I felt prompted to learn to play the organ before I moved from Utah to South Dakota. I have a strong piano background, but the organ is very different instrument! Although I felt overwhelmed as I was only able to take a few lessons before moving, I know Heavenly Father blessed me and I learned to play very quickly. As soon as I moved to South Dakota, I was called the be the organist here. I know when I sit and play the beautiful music in church for Sunday meetings that the music goes far beyond my own talent. The music uplifts and invites the spirit. I am so grateful I felt the prompting to learn and that Heavenly Father has blessed me both in my church callings as well is in my personal life.
