Hi I'm Alex K. Dubois

I'm a young professional, an aspiring sneakerhead, I love winning and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am just a regular guy, who is trying to make a name for himself. I was raised in Minnesota, went to school in Utah, spent 2 years on an island I love, worked in Minne, then in DC and now I've landed in Seattle. I love being where I am in life. I've been blessed to have the experiences I've had, to have been brought up how I was, and also for all the people that I have in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Currently I am a young professional in the Seattle area. I can look at my past and every day be grateful for who I have become and the way I was brought up. I was born into a Mormon family and grew up in this great state of Minnesota. Living in Minnesota I found myself around a lot of different people, with different beliefs. I am very grateful for the gospel base that my parents taught me as a small child, and the strength that I found in it as I grew up and went through teenage and high school experiences. That helped me grow as an individual in my own standards and beliefs. There are specific experiences that I can look back on and recognize as very big testimony building experiences. But when I think about my own personal conversion, it has come over time. From my youth all the way up to the best experience of my life serving a mission in the Dominican Republic, it has been a long gradual journey and progress in my testimony. Ups and downs, but with the things I have learned and the experiences I have had, I know that this is the truth.

How I live my faith

Everyday is a new day and it is another day for me to become better. There are so many things that come up in the day, but the way I live my faith, is really trying to be the best I can. The Lord has given me so much, and has put people in my life for specific reasons. As I recognize that, I know that living my faith has everything to do with my interaction with every single person I come across in life. I have an example in my Savior Jesus Christ, and I know that He expects me to be an example in his place as well in my everyday life. There are so many opportunities everyday to lighten someone's load, to serve everyone around you. It is amazing to me how all day everyday is really how I can live my faith. It's not just Sundays, or during service projects, or during church activities/meetings, but it is every second of every minute of every day that I try and live my faith.
