Hi I'm Teresa

I was born in Canada and grew up in Utah. My husband and I live on the east coast and love the trees. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like singing, hiking, gardening, studying, and being with my family. My family consists of six engaging adult children, and five fun and endearing grandchildren. I am studying to be a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have always felt my Heavenly Father's love. Particular times throughout my life have reinforced my simple faith and everyday I feel the Holy Spirit teach me.

How I live my faith

I am a Cub Scout den leader. In addition to teaching them the basics of Scouting I try to teach them of Jesus Christ. In the past I have taught the youth and lead the choir. I also am a Master Gardener in my community and love serving there. I love to read my scriptures everyday, and to share them with my family.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Grace is a precious gift from God. Through Jesus Christ's atonement everyone will be resurrected. Jesus was the first, and all men, regardless of the lives they live, will live again. We have also, through the grace of God, been given the gift of repentance; the opportunity to forsake our sins, purify our lives and return to live with God again. Show more Show less
