Hi I'm David Fullmer

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints.

About Me

I am an aerospace research engineer, a doctoral candidate, a father of two boys, a husband, and a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always loved science and the process by which people could find explanations to behaviors or observations that would other wise remain a mystery to them. It really is marvelous to me to think about all that has been learned and accomplished through a process which simply starts with an observant and alert mind. I grew up being curious by nature and when I became old enough to ask serious questions about God and life. I found something that has not only satisfied my questions but brought noticeable peace in my life. Today I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Here I have learn who I was, what my relationship to God and my fellow man is, and why I am here. Here I have learned the principles of a joyful and happy life and how to succeed at obtaining my greatest potential. Life to me is exciting with a lot to look forward to. I know life can be busy, complicated, and even stressful. I could never claim other wise, heck I blame stress for most of my premature white hairs, but in the big picture I have always had much to be grateful for. You really do not know how important the teachings of Jesus Christ are until you have taken the time to think about how little you know and how much you really need to know. I don't know everything, but I know who I can trust to help me the answers.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? I make sure my faith is part of who I am. In my mind to actually live my faith is to be in a constant state of growth and progression. It is to be working towards an ideal. I have found that I can look to Christ to be my example in every area of my life. This works because Christ lived (lives) by correct principles. His perfect example is based all on correct principles. By learning and choosing to value these principles I am able to proactively govern who I am becoming and the life I will lead. On a weekly bases, I consider each of my roles in life and try to articulate what I want to become with respect to each role. I write this all down and then prayerfully try to figure out what is the next thing I need to work on in order to realize this ideal. I know that the Lord guides me as I actively work to understand and live the principles involved in a successful marriage, in the successful up bring of children, a successful career path, and a successful representative of his church. My faith is part of who I am and that is how I live my faith.
