Hi I'm Ryan

I grew up on a farm and in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also have served a mission in Arizona Tucson.

About Me

I am in charge of 1830 acres of Gods great earth to farm. I have a wonderful 360 degree office view and wonderful sunrises and sunsets! Beautiful landscape! I love woodworking and farming. Driving tractor (or letting it drive itself), is my job! I struggle with depression and have menier's disease. I was the geek in school and teased a lot. Seeing the beauty in the weather changes, landscapes, sunrises and sunsets, really help me to feel that they were put there just for me. I love the peace of the mountains and the trees. I love the peace of farming. I have three kids whom at times is giving me early grey hair, but bring such joy to my heart when they snuggle into my arms and say "I love you daddy!"

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and was baptized by immersion when I was 8. I did have a time when I struggled with the gospel and looked at other churches. I had some hang ups with Joseph Smith. When listening to other preachers, I always felt confused as to what they were saying and it just didn't make sense, but I kept trying. I then went on a mission to Tucson Arizona and for a while even thought "how can I teach other people about Joseph Smith, when I don't believe it myself?" I studied a lot... reading the Bible and Book of Mormon. Then one day during my study I found my answer and it hit me like a ton of bricks! I gained my testimony of Joseph Smith and I know he was a profit of God. Although I have been a member my whole life, it wasn't until I was 19 years old till I was converted. I don't worship Joseph Smith, but I believe in him. The more I learn about him and the more I study, it just makes my testimony of him stronger. There is by no other way than by the hand of God to bring forth and do what Joseph has done. I worship Jesus Christ. I love Christ and believe in him. I see this earth... the landscapes... the stars... and see that all things point to Christ. Without Him, I would not be here nor able to return to my Father in Heaven. It is hard to take in the suffering that Christ has done for a person like me. I am forever grateful for him and love him as a brother, Savior, and Redeemer.

How I live my faith

I love to help our local school with lighting and sound for the school plays (K-6). The kids also love when I go do science experiments with them every other week. It is fun to see the excitement on the kids faces when we do the fun experiments that always seem to make a mess. I am a home teacher and try to always visit the families I am responsible for. If someone touches my heart by things they have said in church or in everyday life, I try to go out of my way to let them know how much that means to me. I also help with the men of my age at church and try to help them with either their struggles or just to be there as a friend. I feel it of great importance to serve my community weather of my faith or not. I clear the snow out of the parking lots for two different churches which are different religions. I donate a lot of time and expect nothing in return. I love to give a ride to a neighbor who has broke down, or lend a helping hand when more help is needed. I feel taking care of my family, friends and neighbors is more important than my own crops. By doing so, I have felt the love of my Heavenly Father and for some reason always seem to make ends meet even when I see no way to make it work.
