Hi I'm Sheron

I grew up in Florida. I love teaching children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for almost 40 years to a wonderful man. I am the mother of 4 children and grandmother to 9. My life's vocation was managing Physician Offices. Now I am retired and enjoying my grandchildren. My husband and I love having our children and grandchildren over and spending time together with them.

Why I am a Mormon

My father joined the Mormon Church when I was about two years old. My mother had been baptized earlier in life, but was not always active in the Church. For as long as I can remember, my family were active members. I can still remember singing the songs in Primary, beginning at the age of three years old. So many truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ are taught through these songs. I have always loved singing. So I would sing the songs while growing up and think of the messages in the songs. They helped me to Choose the Right in times when choices needed to be made. The lessons taught to me by Primary and Sunday School teachers, as well as my parents, gave me a foundation of values to live by throughout my life. Through study and prayer, my testimony of Jesus Christ has grown, with an appreciation of Him as my Savior and Redeemer. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. He is my Example of everything that is good and right. He has shown us the way to live our lives so that we may return to live again with Him and our Heavenly Father. I have peace, through the gospel of repentance and through His atoning sacrifice, that my sins will be forgiven. I also have hope that by following the teachings of Jesus Christ, and those of prophets of old and living prophets, I will be able to have eternal life with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, as well as my family and loved ones. This is my ultimate goal.

How I live my faith

My faith in my Savior helps me in all aspects of my life. I want to live a life that is worthy of being numbered as a disciple of the Lord, Jesus Christ. When others see me, whether at home, at church, in the community, or wherever I might be, I want them to visibly be aware that my goal is to follow in the footsteps of the Savior. Whether it be through my language, modesty in my dress, or compassion towards others, I try to exemplify attributes of the Savior. Jesus loved everyone, and expects us to do the same. Jesus helped those in need, and expects us to do the same. Jesus came to the aid of the sick, and expects us to do the same. I know that every choice I make on this earth makes a difference in my eternal goals. Every decision I make is made with that knowledge in mind. I realize that I may not always make the right choices, but I am so thankful for the gift of repentance given to us through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. We can repent of our sins, be forgiven, and get back on the right track towards eternal life with our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ. My Savior has provided the way. I only have to follow His perfect example.
