Hi I'm Bea

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother and daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. I have been married for over twenty years to the most amazing man in the world and we have three of the most amazing children who are all over the age of eighteen! I have been a stay at home mom for twenty three years and I love every sweet and sour moment of it! I have some college under my belt but what I really love doing besides serving Heavenly Father and my family is organizing and crafting. I enjoy walking/hiking, water aerobics and crafts, like cards and scrapbooking. I enjoy texting and talking with friends and family. My husband has been in the USAF for over twenty years so we have traveled a bit and have been given the blessing of meeting many new people. I love being a Military spouse! I'm grateful for our military life because it's what brought me to the right place to hear from my Heavenly Father about the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Life has been awesome even with all of the diversity in it. I believe that no matter what one goes through that if one has a positive attitude there is always something to learn and grow from.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I prayed to know the truth and the Holy Ghost testified to me that the restored gospel is true. The missionaries were doing the" Find The Lost Sheep Program" where we lived and they knocked on a neighbors door but she wasn't interested so she sent them to our home. So they did and three weeks later my husband and I were baptized. I new after the first discussion that the gospel of Jesus Christ was true. I had many questions and through the spirit I felt the truth of the missionaries answers. After reading from and praying about the Book of Mormon I new it was true. When I heard the story of the First Vision the Holy Ghost testified that it truly happened. I also wanted the spirit in my home and the Missionaries said the way to have the spirit always was to be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost so after praying about this decision my husband and I were baptized and confirmed into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Feb 1994. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. I know He is the Son of a loving Heavenly Father. I know that He was born in a lowly manger and then grew into the most perfect person who is the best example in all existence. I know that He atoned for all of mankinds sin's and He is going to advocate for all who come unto Him. I am so thankful for a loving Heavenly Father and elder brother who was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice because without them I would be lost! In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

As a mother, a member of the church, and a military wife I have had multiple opportunities to live my faith. I believe one lives their faith by serving others because that is what the Savior's doctrine teaches us to do. I have been a youth leader and have been able to teach the youth of the church about Christ. Being with and teaching the youth has been one of the most fulfilling things that I have been called to do besides being a wife and mother. I love serving them and seeing their faces light up with recognition of gospel principles. I also love serving in the community doing Helping Hands, working in homeless shelters and convalescent homes. It is very fulfilling to help ignite the light of Christ in others because of some small act of service one is able to give. One very important thing about living my faith I have learned is humility. I am not perfectly humble but I am doing my best to be like the Savior. I believe that having humility does not make one weak it only helps one to see others like the Savior sees them because one isn't wrapped up in themselves. When I look at the Savior, weakness is not a word I would use to describe Him. When a person is humble I believe that they are able to better serve and be served which allows all to be strenghtened in faith and their testimony of Jesus Christ. I know this to be true!
