Hi I'm Jeffrey

I'm a husband, a student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! I grew up enjoying classic rock with my dad. I spent most of my free time in high school skateboarding and playing guitar. I got a scholarship playing French Horn in college and another for getting first place in a poetry contest. I have six siblings who all mean the world to me.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of the church and I grew up with their examples every day. Since my childhood I have had countless opportunities to see that the things my parents hoped to instill in me were all true and helpful. I've put lots of prayer and study and thought into things and I would not trade the life I have for the world. I am amazingly happy and I have a hope to keep this peace with me always.

How I live my faith

It is my privilege to teach people on a daily basis about the more basic beliefs and practices of the church. I pray to be able to meet people that are searching for the blessings that Heavenly Father has. I teach people the things they need to understand and do to be baptized in the church.

What is the priesthood?

The priesthood is the authority of God given to his children. Those authorized are able to serve others the way that Jesus Christ (the ultimate Servant) would serve them. Service could be as simple as just a good example and then continues along to even more important things like baptism and giving the gift of the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

There is no substitute for a good example. Little kids don't always come with the level of self restraint that they'll need later on in life. If kids see the people they love maintain simplicity and modesty in their dress, speech and actions they'll copy what the see. Show more Show less
